As Operations Manager, Morgan Linger is responsible for overseeing daily operations, including production management, quality control, inventory oversight and resource allocation, ensuring the organization operates with optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Before joining M-7, Morgan served in various capacities within the United States Air Force. He began his Air Force career as an active-duty aircraft mechanic, working on military cargo aircraft, later transitioning to the Air Force Reserves as aQuality Assurance Manager. He concluded his distinguished military career with his Air Force retirement in 2022.
Morgan is an active member of the Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition and serves on the Advisory Board of the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, contributing to the development of the region’s manufacturing talent.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University.
Ricardo Beltran brings a strong background in accounting and financial management to the leadership team, serving as the Controller at M-7 since 2016.
Ricardo’s leadership has been instrumental in optimizing M-7’s financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance and enhancing the company’s overall financial health.
He holds an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Indiana University. Further underscoring his commitment to excellence in financial oversight and compliance, he is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Dan Yemma, Jr. began his career at a leading vertically integrated corporation, where he held positions as Quality Engineering Manager and Operations Area Manager.
Prior to his current role, he served as General Manager at M-7 Technologies, building on more than 20 years of experience in industrial manufacturing and the steel industry.
His current responsibilities include customer-facing activities, including strategic commercial planning, business development, quoting and estimating and project management. His fields of expertise include strategic business planning, new product development, contract negotiation and lean manufacturing.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Youngstown State University. He also completed Executive Education in Leadership Decision Making at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Jon Park is the retired Founder, Chairman and CEO of Westfield Bank, a 2001 startup and now one of Ohio’s largest community banks. Mr. Park devised and led the implementation of strategies that took Westfield Bank from a de novo institution to $2.1 billion in total assets. Prior to Westfield Bank, he served as CFO for two publicly traded community banks and a private equity investment firm.
Jon has 22 years of director experience with 11 private corporations and currently serves on three Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) corporate boards, two private equity investment advisory boards and one community foundation board. He also is a member of the Private Director Association.
He graduated from Miami University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and he holds a Series 65 Securities Law License.
A seasoned executive leader and experienced Board member, Daniel Goldstein has more than 30 years of managing and advising employee-owned and family-owned companies, spanning multiple continents and many jurisdictions. He has been instrumental in helping with complex issues, including business strategy, acquisitions, direct investments, entity structuring, portfolio design, asset allocation and purpose driven philanthropy.
Daniel retired at the end of 2023 as CEO and President of Folience, a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) holding company he co-founded in 2017. The Folience portfolio includes numerous newspapers in Iowa, as well as other companies across Oklahoma and Kansas.
He now serves as an independent board director for several U.S. employee-owned manufacturing companies in roles including Board Chair, Audit Committee Chair and Compensation Committee Chair. Daniel also serves on the Board of the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO).
Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and holds a master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
Wayne Denny has more than 30 years of experience in business development, leadership and growth in numerous industries.
Prior to this position, he was the President of Fluid Solutions segment at CECO
Environmental, a rapidly growing and highly profitable global industrial pump and filtration business.
Wayne spent a large part of his career in various leadership roles with the Timken Company, including General Manager – Strategic Marketing (Aerospace and Defense). In that role, he turned around a struggling business unit and drove significant expansion in top and bottom-line performance.
He is currently serving as the inaugural Chair of the Executive Advisory Board and recently helped launch the School of Engineering at the University of Mount Union. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Argonaut (a non-profit running the Davis Aerospace and Maritime school for the city of Cleveland). Additional board roles include Chairman of the Board for the Ohio Aerospace Institute and a board member for Parallax Advanced Research.
A lifelong learner, Wayne earned his MBA from the Williamson College of Business – Youngstown State University and his bachelor’s degree in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science from Mount Union College. He also earned an Executive Education certificate from The Darden School of Business – University of Virginia.
He has been awarded 10 patents and holds five major industry awards for new product development and introduction.
Michael Garvey is past President and CEO of M-7 Technologies, a business his family started more than 105 years ago.
He began his career on the New York Stock Exchange with Wagner, Stott and Co. In 1985, he returned home to help rebuild his family’s manufacturing business. Michael has since worked in the defense, transportation, energy and industrial markets, teaming with technology partners from around the globe.
For the past 15 years, he has led the M-7 focus on equipping the small and medium-sized manufacturing workforce with digital capabilities.
Michael currently serves on the Manufacturing and Growth Network board (part of Ohio MEP) and has served on several boards and committees including NIST’s Visiting Committee on Advanced Technologies and the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Overseers.
He has seven patents related to advanced manufacturing and machine learning.
